Stalco Titanium bits are drill bits made with a titanium nitride coating, which is a hard, wear-resistant material. There are several advantages to using titanium bits:

  1. Durability: The titanium nitride coating makes titanium bits more durable and resistant to wear and tear than regular bits. They can withstand higher temperatures and last longer than regular bits, making them a good choice for heavy-duty drilling applications.

  2. Speed: Titanium bits can cut through materials faster than regular bits due to their hard, smooth coating and superior heat resistance.

  3. Precision: The smooth, hard coating of titanium bits can help to produce a more precise and accurate hole compared to regular bits, which may leave a rough or uneven edge.

  4. Corrosion resistance: The titanium nitride coating is also resistant to corrosion, making titanium bits a good choice for outdoor or marine drilling applications.

However, titanium bits are generally more expensive than regular bits due to the cost of the titanium nitride coating. They may also be more brittle and prone to breaking if used improperly.

PH, PZ, Torx, and flat bits are all types of screwdriver bits that are commonly used in power drill drivers and impact drivers. PH bits have a “Phillips” drive, which is a type of cross-recessed drive with rounded corners. PZ bits have a “Pozidriv” drive, which is a type of cross-recessed drive with four additional points of contact. Torx bits have a star-shaped drive with six points of contact. Flat bits, also known as slotted bits, have a single straight slot for driving flat-head screws.

In general, titanium bits are a good choice for heavy-duty drilling applications where durability, speed, precision, and corrosion resistance are important. Regular bits may be sufficient for lighter-duty applications or if cost is a concern.
